Led by ICSD president, Dr. Donalda Ammons, she presented the final draft of Deaf Sports Reform proposal which main goal, as fulfillment of Olympism’s basic ideals through Deaflympic Movement, is the recognition of International Deaflympic Committee (IDC) by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). This mentioned Deaf Sports Reform proposal was first discussed during Deaf Sports Reform Symposium held in Zagreb, Croatia on July 2007. The proposal also explained the future changes in Deaf sports community that the global structure International Deaflympic Committee will be having three constituents, like in the structure of Olympic Movement, namely: International Committee of Sports for the Deaf, International Committee of Sports for the Deaf for Children and Youth, and National Deaflympic Committees.
